INJECTION CALIBRATION

The Faction MX FMI unit is called a piggy-back type EFI controller meaning that it reads the injector signal on your ECU, modifies the signal, then sends it to the injector.

It leaves your OEM ECU data untouched for an easy restore.

The Faction MX FMI unit is broken down into three main zones.
The zones correlate to carburetor tuning logic.

The green mode represents the pilot jet, yellow mode represents the needle and the red mode represents the main jet.

The FMI unit also includes and Electronic Accelerator Pump for improved throttle response in all modes.

What really sets the Faction MX FMI unit apart from other types of EFI controllers is that it uses load based technology instead of just RPM vs. TPS.

Load based tuning allows the user to tune their bike for every gear and for all types of riding conditions. Load can easily be explained by stating that riding up a hill puts more load on the vehicle then riding on flat ground.

Each zone for the FMI unit can be adjusted by the user to determine how load sensitive the zone is.

The FMI unit mounts directly on the bike. That means you can tune your bike while riding. For an example if you want to tune your bike for a special part of the track, you just pull over and tune the FMI unit until you get the desired result.
