Product description
DYNO SPRING DS1

Among the "must haves" of any workshop, the DS1 is an indispensable tool for measuring the elastic or static thrust released by the suspensions or by the individual components present in them.
Using this machine, the user will not simply be able to determine the load (K) of a spring, but will have a precise reading of the thrust released by it along its entire excursion.
Thanks to its internal load cell of 10,000N of power, its constantly updated software, its pneumatic piston, the possibility of covering a maximum of 350mm of travel (thus allowing it to characterize all the suspensions on the market),
the DS1 is able to process data and graphs of the progression and thrust released by our suspensions with every millimeter of crushing.

DS1 – MTB KIT AND OFF-ROAD KIT
Also supplied with the DS1 is a MTB Kit, thanks to which it is possible to measure all the forks and shock absorbers present on the Mountain Bike market, as well as an Off-Road Kit useful for measuring all the forks of off-road motorbikes and the end stops.

The name "spring weigher" with which this tool is usually identified should not be misleading;
DS1, in fact, is able to characterize any component present in the suspension and which exerts a force relative to crushing, regardless of the speed of the crushing itself.
The list of applications of the DS1 is therefore very varied, allowing the measurement - in addition to the force developed by the springs, both mono and fork (up until now typically more difficult to measure due to their length and stroke),
off road and track motorcycles - the force generated by the quantity of oil present in the forks, the force and trend deriving from the pressure in the air suspensions,
the force and trend developed by end stop pads, the impact exerted by the presence of a counterspring , the resultant force of a system of springs working in series, and so on.
