Moto-Master Brake Pad Heat Shields

Moto-Master brake pad heat shields are designed to reduce heat transfer from the brake pads to the brake caliper. They act as an effective thermal barrier, helping to maintain consistent braking performance under heavy loads and high temperatures.

The heat shields are installed between the brake pad backing plates and the brake caliper pistons. By limiting heat transfer to the caliper, pistons, and brake fluid, they help reduce the risk of overheating, brake fluid boiling, and reduced braking performance (brake fade).

Improved temperature control also helps protect essential braking system components, including seals, pistons, and brake fluid. This can extend component lifespan and provide a more consistent brake feel during demanding riding conditions.
